  1. No questions about it! We owe a ton of respect to all veterans. I hope we all realize that freedom is not free!!
  2. Nice fish!! Thanks for the pics
  3. Hey...that looks like an SCBA mask with a respirator adapter!!! You didn't have any extras at the station did you?
  4. Welcome to GLF Jim. Very nice fishing platform you have there:thumb:
  5. Love it! That beach is the start of my early spring fishing grounds:thumb: One of the coolest things in the video is the flag stuck in the sand bar. Some buddies of ours stuck that early this summer and it is still there. Though it was really fitting for the song as well.
  6. Awesome way to go out mike. Looks like it was a nice ride once it warmed up a little:thumb:
  7. Jimmy I had a hard time with my masts and big boards for a summer spread being that i run multiple dipsys off of each side and like to mix it up and run heavy cores and copper out to the side most of the summer. It ate up a lot of time shuffling rods around to reset and like someone else said when the shallow one goes you are not getting her back out without reeling in hundreds of feet of line. I just couldn't figure out how to make it easy, but if you do go that route only the otter boats will do. You also do not need the mast on the front of the boat because you can modify the fin on the otter boats and they will just about pull straight out from the boat. My mast is a part of my great lakes planer system and EASILY accessible in the middle of the boat as you can see here. I went back to my custom modified inline boards for the better part of the season and have not regretted it since. I will use them at ice out for coho because we don't use dipsys much, usually just short cores that are pretty similar from 1-4 colors and A LOT of them:D
  8. I have to agree with Jay on the tracks. It will allow you to create your own fishing style and play around with it and allow you to change up when you see some other set up you might like to work into the mix. Best thing you can do is hitch a ride and see other rigs in action. Everyone fishes a little different and usually always pick up a little something from every strange trip i go on.
  9. Great fish Jonas. I always look forward to your posts!

  18. Great Underwater video John. Must have been a little chilly getting those shots:grin: Looks like one hell of a year for ya! Congrats!!!
  19. I would second that one on Jason Coslow of KC-1. A simple Google search will get you to his website.
  20. Nailer knows this he was just refering to the other non stretch lines that you should go easy on the drag. That is a no-no in my boat as well, we are not good with the bassmaster hooksets
  21. Great job Gord...always look forward to your reports:thumb:
  22. Great post Grant, and make sure there are enough in your home. If you are not sure on placement there is some great info online with a simple search. Unfortunately some of us in fire service see the sad neglectful side of something as simple as this that can easily be avoided.
  23. Nice catch Doug and awesome pic:thumb: Hope this weather sticks around for a bit!
