Gentlemen, had my new Fish Hawk Probe on last weekend and it was recording a temp of 3.5 degrees 50 feet down, Now I thought this to be strange, so did the Manufacture, who informs me they are having issues with the newly designed probe and want mine back in exchange for another new one tested at their facility. So all of you that might be having issues that bought them new this year, send it back for a new one..Just so all of you know, the speed was correct at 2.3MPH athte ball, it was the temp I was concerned with, shouldn't I have caught some frozen fish????? I do it too, only I use the Ludington cam from Harbor view Marina... it's true torture man... and it hurts after while... Last friday I was in Ludington, on the boat, but because of time restrictions (we were taking the boat to Elk Rapids) I decided not to go out in the morning...had the riggers all set ou to go on Thursday night too..woke up at 5:30 am and figured out the timing of everything, (had to be back for our open house for 1 more graduate) and said there's no way we can make it of I go out on the water fishing for even an hour....of coarse I decided to pack it all up and get on the raod with the boat... wise decision too, the wife said since I was a good Dad, I can go out all weekend next weekend in Elk Rapids Fishing.....Ah Helllnow I can't wait but the salmon aren't really up there, I'll have to fins them..

Has anyone who has a Fish hawk Probe had to calibrate the temp settings? My probe is reading right around 5* depth temp, thinking this might be a little off, please let me know how you did the calibrations for the temp settings?

What are you guys talking about When talking about Breaks....what is a break.

that would be great but Saturday I have to throw an open house, last one for a long time though..... It just felt that I was doing everything wrong, since I wasn't even getting a bite, but I was too deep and too far out. Thursday I will remain in 60 FOW and Hunt there for awhile.

went out on Ludington on Saturday late morning, set up in 150FOW at 60 feet and didn't get even a hit, but I was happy to get the riggers in the water.... forst time this year and well it wasn't very productive..... we're going back out thursday night and Friday morning if weather is good enough, Ludington weather this weekend was horiible..

Dan thanks for the report, I'm going to Luding tomorrow meaning Friday morning fishing, if I can get the wife out early enough.... where did you hit the most fish, at the bathouse or south of that?

Yes you west siders and west sliders... get the best, the best fish the best waves the best sunsets.......we get the best sunrises over here, but normally no ones up in time to see them. Me and My Bride (who seldom nags, or bitch's at me) have enjoyedand will enjoy plenty more sunsets, at Ludington, Grand Haven and even in Elk Rapids.....only ths time there will be plenty of lines in the water waiting for the Night bite...

Is that trout good for eatin, or is it nasty....Cuase thats a FAT trout..... ar they a good fighter...

Oh TRust me mine are done, and I even bought a new triple axle brake controller....

I won't get on the water until the middle of may mainly because of the weather, and the fact that I'm a fair weather fisherman and the fact that i bring my wife everytime I go out....Shes a great woman and fun to look at too.... Ambiance is ready and wired..... some would say "She's cocked, locked and ready for action"

That sounds great get me some coordinates and I'll enter them into my chart plotter, and it will let me know when I'm there and getting close. Trout will do, we like to play Catch your meals... when we're out on the boat for vacation.. it can be great of it can be eating cereal for the night..... Get it? Really so when I drop the lines on the riggers in July, near Pictured Rocks I'm not going to catch a darn thing.?????? Well now I'm not excited at all.

Now if you'd have in near 4th of July I'd be there and I'd stay awhile as well but Can't travel that far with the boat in tow for a fishing weekend. But darn nice idea though... wishin I could get there, I might catch one or two...

Well it took a week of waiting, but I finally trapped the skunk that has been destroying my yard. Looks like a small rototiller has hit my yard, but I got her...Trpped her in the live trap , then well shot her, wow what a mistake, that skunk stunk, the last one didin't smell at all and I didn't have to trap it either.Hopefull I don't have anymore..

I go to theCAm and all Isee is bubbles, is there a better time to visit this site in order to see Fish.....
