  1. Yup the boat is sitting in Harborview and I'm watching guys troll the Pere Marquette... because the waves are too high and the wind is too strong. And yes it is raining as well.. I don't know I'm hoping it's going to clear up, if anything just to go pick up the boat and dry dock it again...for another week, I can't get over there during the week so I've become a weekend Renegade.. Hoping the weather holds out, Adam you've got a longer drive then I do I think I'm sure you are glad you didin't go....
  2. This has been and still is a Wild Summer for weather, I can't remember a worse summer except I think it was 1994, when it rained all summer long. But this summer, it's been the SNOW clouds....there always here even today as I sit in my livingroom and the boat is docked in Ludington....I believe there has only been 1 weekend... this summer that has been Hot and Not windy all weekend. But, It still has been a great summer, we've caught our largest Salmon ever so far and we have all you guys on this site to Thank for that. With all the advice and pain staking questions I've had, you guys have been great. I'm looking forward to so many more fish and so many more summer and not to mention the fall Salmon.. is still to come...Lets hoope the weather hold outs and all on the board get many more fish, So what was your worst summer for weather???
  3. The wind ,rain and waves sent us back home Friday Morning...now it's SAturday morning and as I'm viewing the Harborview webcam, I'm seeing more wind and waves from the North, but we will be heading out to the b oat this morning late and arriving there in Ludington shortly afternoon...I'm hoping to get some Sunday Morning Fishing in yet this weekend, but only the waves will keep me from the salmon...
  4. OK If you catch the monster that stole my Spatter Back Plugs, one is green the other is blue, the Blue one has a flasher board still attached to it as well, please return equipment as soon as possible and send pic of Fish... I hate that Fish, and it owes me some big money... Great Story... and they mostly happen to Us beginners... Why Is that..???
  5. Were going back this weekend too Joe, the point was hot but very busy, too busy I think, We're going to run south a little bit and see where the traffic isn't...Hioefully the weather will participate with us and give us a calm setting.
  6. Well I'm both, but if I'd ever bump into anyones boat, I'd be the first to get off check for any damages and certainly be the first to apologize....so it's not all pleasure boaters... it's just the idiots... but You know we seen a lot of Idiot fishermen last night in Ludington.. wow most fishing we on a North and south troll, but you have the idoits with too much Beer in them running East and West, mostly small boats like 17 and under...Oh there were some tempers flairing out there for sure.. But I'm glad noghting happend to your dream Boat....
  7. Good Job Rob, Nice Fish.... Man I wish I could go 11 for 15..... I'm still in the 3 range...
  8. Well we had a great time..Went out Saturday Morning, hit three Fish, 1st one came on a rigger 125 down in 200FOW 8 lbs,,2nd one came on the same Glow spoon, same Rigger..75 feet down in 150 FOW and the 3rd came on the same spoon which will never be the same...23lb King on the same rigger.. Then at night well I lost two splatter back plug to two monsters that neve showed their faces.... but wow did they hit hard and one Fought hard... Ha then he was gone on a wire line dispey... happend twice in a row same dipsey..lost the flasher and the plug the forst time. 3 for 3 in the morning NOt Bad....and two losses for two hits at night ...Not Bad either.... Question, what do you use to bring the monsters in besides 30lb leaders..... they snapped them like they were paper..? Let me know I'm curiuos...
  9. Matt We're on our way there now should be there by around 5 and I'm heading for 100-200-FOW a little south of Ludington.....thatnks for the detail maybe I'll see you out there this weekend....Look for the Sea Ray Cruiser Called Ambiance..
  10. We can't wait to et over there on Friday..... hope the weather holds out..
  11. Good job adam, where did you say this was I noticed you didn't give any locations, except Ludinton....
  12. There was a Blue and white boat out in Ludinton last week giving my admiral a hard time, kept turning into us, cutting us off and she had to take evasive manuevers to not run into him.... Now I am not a very patient man..if it keeps happening I may pull lines and show him a 32 foot Sea Ray and a 6 foot wave as I circle him waiting for the waves to capsize him........... there is NO reason to come so close...My God is it really that important to get fish in the boat, to where you have to taunt someone.... she did great behind the wheel, I'm more experienced of a boater, but I do have a temper...but I can control it... yeah know.
  13. Yes we had this happen in Ludington last weekend, he was just in front of us coming into the pier heads and I followed him until I had to go into Harbor view marina, thought about calling the Coast Gaurd, but I didn't know if they'd do anything about it....again it's the idiots that make boating dangerous...Everyone who owns a boat, should have to go through a power sqaudron coarse and have boat inspected each year,it would save lives...trust me. I've noticed some of the time the Sheriff sits inside the peir heads in Ludington and watches over the fishermen coming in at night, that night they weren't there,shucks..........
  14. Nice Boat, hope you can catch a lot of fish with it... let us know where yeah Fish out of...soon.

  22. great job I can't imagine fishing in a boat like that, must be a blast to hook into a fish when it can take you up stream to spawn with it..... Great looking fish though....
  23. Nice Job Nady Nothing like Jammin to AC/DC on the way back..........sounds like you came "Back In Black".......ha ha had to through that one in on yeash......Good thing it wasn't Hells Bells out there for you..... ok ok I'll stop...
  24. wow sounds like you guys had a great time, we had a mess too last night, but it wasn't the fish's fault, those boats in lUDINGTON LIKE TO CUT YOU OFF AND RUN CLOSE TO YOU.. But the admiral came through it un scaved and all the better driver, I was busy bringing in what seemed to be a tire, Nope just two other lines of mine.. ....it's fishing.... and it's still fun.
