  11. OMG we've lost two nets this year overboard.... first was my fault then the next was the wifes.... we simply didn't tie them off to the railing with our velcro tape....I've spent a lot this year...
  12. I certainly wouldn't accuse anyone, but when it comes down to Brass Tax.. The PRO"S KNOW"S.... meaning they Know how to win and they know how to lose, and we ll know that it's the back fo the boat where MOST fish are lost... intentional or NOT....Makes you wonder, how they keep winning so many events.... yah know... but Hell it's just fishing.. not like it's Nascar or anything Hahahahahahahahahhaha Give me a break..
  13. Well we went out on SAturday night, didn't get a thing had two hits' lost one spoon and called it a night after 3 hours of washing spoons, the only good thing....No one lese was marking any fish either. 17. Went to Ludington for the fourth, No Fishing report to report.. it was very rough, and I didn't feel like playing Deadliest catch....It's just NOT that important.... Better Luck next week.
  18. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to get my Wire Dispeys to go our very far even on 3 setting, they seem to run close to the riggers, which I have off the sides,Tell me how you guys are getting those dipseys out there to put another one in on 1.5?
  19. Has anyone installed Auto stops on the riggers for Big Jon? I did and well I lost a weight last week, I must have crimped the cable sleeves too hard and cut the cable, last week while pulling up the rigger, the Autostop rubber stops got cuaght in the pulley and the rigger never stops pulling up , which snapped the cable right at one of the sleeves.. so anyone crimped without hurting the cable????
  20. Great Job,and some nice looking Feesh dar....
  21. No I need a massage therapist to work the kinks out of my back, I'll send some pics tonight, but does anyone know how to crimp on the sleeves for Auto stops without hurt the cable? I guess I must have cut trhough the cable on my crimp which I do not understand since I used Vise Grips so there'd be no sharp edges to cut it with...????? Let me know.
  22. We got out on the water about 5:30 pm, st up in 130 FOW and headed North from Just south of the Stick....Had a rigger set, and was setting a dipsey at 110 feet back when it hit hard...30 minutes later it was in the boat, approx 23 pounds Didin't wirgh it our though... got the dipsey in the water again 60 feet back.. it HIT again.... I'm thinking Damn this Orangge Crush is on Fire... Landed that one another good size King and set the dipsey again, only for for it to get out 100 feet back and hit again... I'm thinking ok Can I get a break here.... meanwhile the rigger prot side is doing NOTHING....so I checke it... Found a Hitch hiker... King so I let him go it was only about 13 inches long... he was so Cute...the action was hot and the Wife was doing a great job Driving.... so yelled out pull the lines she's doing a 180 to get back into the the action, so I did, set the rigger in 85 FOW down 60 feet and in 5 minutes I was heading for that rigger, this fish spooled me in 30 seconds...or less, so I let him he ran out straight off the back , then headed for the boat, Got him to 50 feet left to go and he went under the boat from the side.... Damn that was fun, The wife killed the drives and let him go between the drives and out the back end..., I finally got him in the boat about 35 minutes later.... 7 for seven that day in less then 2 hours on the water, I was too tired and back was too sore... we went in for the night.... It was a great confidence biulder..
  23. Thanks guys I think I'm going to put them oon my riggers and see what happens.
