  1. Everyone has days like that. I went 3 for 9 two Friday's ago. Thought I was loosing it. Turned around and went 10 for 12 Sat night. Some days that is just how it goes. Good work on the weights. Man I love seeing those 15lb fish and bigger. Last year that seemed very rare.
  2. That sounds about right Rick. Way to get em.
  3. Way to get out there when many others won't (rain). Nice catch.
  4. That is awesome. 330. Honestly you are up to 330. Man, I thought I was happy getting over 100 finally a few weeks back. You are the man Phil.
  5. Jarod, Nice work. That may be a brown. Not sure. Need to see the better pictures.
  6. Nice report Tom. 478fow. HOLY COW. I was not aware it got that deep out there that fast. How far off shore was that?
  7. Tony, the Convector Series rods also come with a lifetime warranty. Glad they made it right. I fish all Okuma stuff and I was a little worried. You'll be pretty happy with the Convector Rods. Way to hang in there.
  8. That is a gorgeous PIG. Nice work Jim.
  9. Gord, what a fish you have there in your picture. i hope you put that one on the wall.
  10. Great job Nick. Had to be nice seeing the water get that deep that fast.
  11. Can't beat catching 20+ lb fish. I'm still looking for mine. A few times close this year but no luck yet. Way to go Matt.
  12. WOW. that is a cool group of fish. Laid out on the picnic table just looks impressive.
  13. Nice work getting another one hooked.
  14. HOLY CRAP I almost forgot. The lure that took the brown was Jay's choice. Just changed over to our night program and he put a moonshine flounder pounder on the full core. AND I lost the board down the line fighting the fish so we were fighting what appeared to be a 40lb hog.
  15. What a nice night on the water. We ended up with 8 fish total . 16.5lb king (scott is holding) 2-15lb kings 14.5 Steelhead and a few smaller fish in the 5-8lb range. AND a 11.5 BROWN. WALL HANGER. Worked 120ft of water for the most part, a little shallower at times. Flasher flies 70 down on the riggers. Copper with 11"mellow yellow and yellow/white fly. Full core with ace high ghost. Dipsey with 8"echip blue dolphin and a fly called SCOTTYS BALLS. Can't remember the others, but most everything was on flasher fly combos.
  16. Way to go Terry. Feels good to be in double digits on a trip again doesn't it?
  17. SWEEEEET. Wish I could have been on board for this event, but hmmm someone stupid (me) got married in August. But is there really a good time. Turkey season, spring fishing, summer fishing, fall fishing, early bow, bow, shotgun, late doe, muzzle , coyote & fox, rabit, etc.
  18. Thank you for the report, and YES we hope the wind stops soon.
  19. Very nice job in CRAPPY conditions. Hopefully the weather will cooperate soon.
  20. Nice job. GLF catching fish . . . cool. Can't believe you were out in that crap.
  21. SWEEEEET. Nice fishes. I have not been up there yet, but sounds like I need to plan a trip.
  22. Way to go guys. I see you finally made it back to the southern ports.
  23. The fish hawk is probably the easiest unit to set up, but as Nailer said it only provides speed and temp at the ball (no height indication). I use the new probe with the old base. It works very well compared to the older probes. The old probes ATE batteries and the new one goes almost 100 hours without changing. If you are getting a new one, I am super jealous. The new digital large number read out is awesome.
