  1. Trees are the only way to go. Once you have them you will wonder how you ran without tangles in the past. I love my big jon trees and run then at different angles like Nick suggested. Though, the big jon trees are all on the same line front to back. Being able to differ the angles is a huge help in rough water and windy conditions.
  2. We got another one. Welcome to the site. Always like to see more like all of us that are addicted to fish.
  3. You both are doing awesome. Putting many of us to shame. Don't always follow the boats. Just because we think we know what will work, it may not. I've had many days where I was 50-75 different (inside or out) of the "pack' and done very well. Other days. . . well . . . it doesn't work all the time.
  4. Nice work Jim and Don. Don's king. Hmmm, could that have been the laker-king variety?
  5. Ouch man. Good title to your email. We all have one of those days from time to time. Good news is, things will likely get better.
  6. Welcome to the site. There are many guys who would love to do trade a trip. It's a great way to get out to other areas and not have to drag your boat and all your gear around.
  7. Welcome to the site. Is the senez the torture device that was shown in DaVinci Code? That makes TON of sense for a boat name. HAHAHA
  8. Very nice work on the brown. Probably a good safe choice to pull lines from what I am hearing.
  9. Awesome to have so many people from so far away. Welcome to the site, we look forward to hearing from you.
  10. Welcome to the site. Love your intro. allow myself to introduce myself. HAHAHA. Can't remember the movie, but awesome line.
  11. SWEEEEEEEEEEET. Nice job.
  12. You going to call that "Dance Feever"? that is a HUGE dance floor.
  13. Nice work Katrina. WOW, you and mark toughed it out with conditions that many people would have thought twice about.
  14. Maybe someone should have chummed. Nice work anyway Nick. Good shakedown out of the way.
  15. Slime and scales is a sucessful shake down. Nice work.
  16. HAHA, that is too funny. Drawing in cougars to your fish gut pile will likely not be good for your neighborhood pets. Anyone missing a cat?
  17. Nice work Kevin. Great shake down. 2 browns. Heck, I only caught one all year last year.
  18. I pretty much agree with the others here. GPS is number one. The other thing you have to remember is MANY people on the web site are on the water and you can radio or phone them for the information they have on their SNT probe. Also, I rarely use the SNT after we know what is going on (like spring or when the run is on in the fall, etc, etc). SNT is very helpful to figure out temp and current breaks when fishing 50-300 fow. However, I use my GPS every time out.
  19. what web site did you go with? I've found them for as cheap at $1499 but that is about as low as I was able to get.
  20. WOW. THOSE are some nice browns. Way to go Terry. Great talking to you on the radio.
  21. Nice work. Good to hear someone is catching fish closer to Holland
  22. Good job on the shake down trip with good company on the ride. Nice work gentlemen.
