  1. nice job Jimmy. Those UV are really working this year. FYI, Lakeshore outfitters has a UV dipsey. Looks really great with a UV flasher behind it and a UV fly.
  2. Nice work. To the wall indeed. A fine specimen.
  3. Can't argue with those results. Nice work.
  4. I fish mostly in between Holland and Grand Haven, but I can tell you that if you read the Holland reports, just repeat in GH. There is not much change between that area most of the year.
  5. Nice work Jimmy. SO, you are saying white a green???? HAHA.
  6. Welcome to the site. We LOVE to share information here and I think you will benefit. Sounds like (with 10 years of experience) we will too. Happy to have you here.
  7. That there is a great box of fishes. Great work. How did you place in the tournament?
  8. SWEEEEET. Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing.
  9. That is amazing Terry. Very nice work.
  10. Mike, I was thinking about this at the Dreamweaver challenge. This being an education opportunity for many children, I wonder if B4K would consider matching funds for whatever we can put together to get us closer to the money needed. Just a thought. I don't know all the ins and outs of the B4K operation.
  11. Some days you win, some days you lose. And yet other times you have to completely reconsider what a win actually is. Sounds like a winning trip (with the family) and a nice day on the water.
  12. Agreed David. I LOVE having a dock. I do not miss those lines at the launch. Good idea about setting a a GPS waypoint 1/4 mile in front. I just typically follow my line (from the trip out) on the way back in.
  13. Not just you by reading other posts. Seems like they are just nibbling lately.
  14. This seems like a good time to bring this up. I've noticed on my trips lately (last weekend) that the fish are kind of biting soft. In other words, everyone's ratios seem to be a little less effective. on my boat it seems they are not hammering the lures.
  15. Way to go Mike and crew. that is a pretty fishy.
  16. I guess I thought it was common sense to square up to the channel and not run in from the side. Now that you mention it though, I did have one idiot in a ski boat come in on the edge one time really fast and tuck in the pier heads. It was crazy, but I have not thought about it in a while. like Jim said, I use common sense and square up about 1/4 mile out. Guess common sense ain't so common.
  17. Long time listener, first time caller. HA. Mr. Obvious. Welcome to the site.
  18. NOTHING REALLY BIG. HAHAHAHAHAHA. I'd hang any one of those 30lbers on the wall. I'm trying to get one of each (laker, brown, steel, king) on the wall, but they have to be the right fish. So far, just a 11.5lb brown on the wall, but she is pretty.
  19. Nice job. That night bite is a riot. Love it when it keeps going and you are trying not to tie the back of the boat in a knot netting fishes.
  20. Nice job Jimmy. Man, skinny water is working great lately. NIce not to have to burn a tank of gas to catch fish this time of year.
  21. WOW. Looks like I missed a great weekend by heading up north. No salmon up here in Charlevoix, but it sure is relaxing. Nice work Kenny. Fix your battery issues?
  22. Agreed. Sunday was NOT GOOD. Bouncy bouncy bouncy bouncy, fun fun fun fun fun. Only if you are a Tigger. We ended up 1 for 3.
  23. One of these days we'll all have to meet in the middle for a stealhead party. Welcome to the site.
