  1. Nice job out there Dave. Sounds like some lines need to be re-tied.
  2. Jon, you need to leave the bananas at the dock like we do. It's our good luck charm. Though, the boat didn't cooperate this weekend as you know. Since our sucess last year at Big Red and Gold Coast we've been leaving a bunch of bananas at the dock (never bringing them on board).
  3. BACK in action. New starter, new pickup in the distributor and new rotar. 30mph and right up on the water. KNOCK ON WOOD. Darn it this boat is killing me this spring.
  4. I run them 10 ft or less and the pole tips are as tight as I can get them without popping the release. BUT, you still have to real like a mad monkey as Frank put it.
  5. Nice trips Dave. Great work out there and some happy crew.
  6. Great weekend Jarod. Makes me tired just reading about. You must be whooooped.
  7. Nice man. The fish moved - and not the way most thought. But we found them there Sat night too.
  8. Ok, so here we go. Let's get the bads news out of the way. They say bad things happen in threes. So, 1. strep throat on Friday, slept all day and didn't read that Nailer canceled the tourney sat (which was the right call), showed up at the dock on sat at 5am, went to break fast, fished sat night (good), 2. fished sunday - ok tried to fish and got towed home, 3. dropped phone on boat and broke it. Now for the good. The trip we had Saturday night was great. ended up 8 for about 12 or so. It was awesome on the lake. flat flat flat. Fished about 7-9:30 in about 85-105fow south of Holland. Picked up three on nuclear waste standard on rigger parked at 60. Picked up a few on 300 copper with blue dolphin ( I think . . . it's been a long weekend). Picked up one on a dipset at 100 on 1.5 with a moonshine ladder back - sorry bad with names - not enough practice this year. Picked up one on 5 color with a super screw standard. Picked up one full core with killer dolphin. So, all in all. We fished, we caught some, we broke the boat (AGAIN), and we start all over again with the boat in the driveway.
  9. Man Dave, nice picture. I have one similar that I will have to post. Our day did not go so well, but we made it home safe and have stories to share and had fun (if you want to call it that) with friends.
  10. What about Just Hook'n? I do appreciate you saving me from saying zero weight, but we did pull in (or get pulled by) an nice red US Tow Boat. HUGE thanks to US Boat.
  11. Nice report Nick. How many points do you get for a Large Blue Sea Ray?
  12. Nice job Jimmy. Great trip.
  13. that thing is awesome. I don't think I could afford to drive it anywhere though.
  14. John, I think I saw you in Yacht Basin unless I am seeing things. What slip are you? We are B58.
  15. Sweeeeeet trip and great post. Nice work.
  16. We are planning on fishing if the waves cooperate Kenny. WOW, this is like a BIG tournament with teams that are fishing this thing. Serious competition. Looking forward to "donating" to the cause and getting my butt kicked.
  17. SWEEEET. Almost used all the hooks at the station. NICE
  18. That's part of the trick. I would rather burn more gas and find fish deeper and get away from the boats.
  19. Nice work gentlemen. Thanks for the detailed report as always Terry.
  20. That's a lot of smiles. Looks like a great time. Awesome Brown.
  21. I'll take 2 in the cooler and less gas burned anyday. Nice work.
  22. Nice trip Jeff. Way to go.
