We also smoke all of our lake trout. Every one is a tasty tasty treat. Hmmmm greasers on the smoker. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Dave, you ever run FF on the copper? It's FUN, especially if you like to turn. If you are going straight, it's not bad. I've been on boats that have run spin doctors on every rod out (copper, cores, etc). FREAKED me out the first time, but no tangles. We did catch a nice fish on a frog 8" flasher with a green fly a few weeks back on 300 copper. Just something different to try. We ran our riggers out 70-100 this past weekend and took a few fish on them.

Nice work Ben. We had a trip like that last year , or maybe it was the year before now, I can't remember. Anyway, our 11.5lb ish brown is hanging on the wall. Also one of the only I've caught on my boat and just a unique trip with good friends.

I fully support changes for the sake of the sport. I just don't agree that this will help. I see this rewarding poor fisherman that get lucky rather than great fisherman who know their craft. Personally I don't mind getting my butt kicked by Dirty Dog, Phil, Kevin, etc etc. I just don't want to pony up $225 to donate my money to someone who fishes three times a year and gets lucky.
