  1. Nice job Ross. What Ed said - you have to post them to the gallery on the website and then you can drop in the link.
  2. Nice job. So it sounds like we just bounced between the pods of fish and picked a few off the edge. Should have gone deeper I guess, but that's fishing.
  3. WOW, that new boat looks like it's going to work just fine. Nice job Jeff.
  4. Very nice shake down. Ya, that wind was a whipping.
  5. Very nice Mike. I can see why you were excited about it. Should be a lot of fun getting her set up.
  6. Very nice. MAN that looks cold.
  7. Nice trip. Way to battle the waves.
  8. Wow. 20 before 10, I'd say that's a pretty darn good day. Nice job.
  9. Sweeeeeet. I didn't figure it would be nice enough to go. Great job getting it done.
  10. Kenny, we'll have to get some pictures of the new boat all set up like a pourcupine. It's pretty neat.
  11. Nice Ken. Looks too clean though. Needs some blood and scales.
  12. FINALLY got out on the new boat for the shakedown trip. Didn't plan on going this weekend due to the NOAA wave forecast modeling blah blah blah. So, we worked on the boat tweaking a few things on Friday, and looked at the webcams first thing on Saturday - nearly flat at the pier. Tried to call a bunch of people, but everyone was already busy. Luckily I needed a license, so I stopped in the local shop and of course we started talking fishing and how badly we wanted to go but needed a third. TADA, Bob DeVris was at the shop and said "I'll go". That was all we needed and we started getting set. THANKS BOB. Could not have gone without out. We went straight west and dropped in about 130. Fished out to 175 and back to 130 when we pulled lines. What worked: dipsey on 2 back 275-300 with 11" white paddle and green/yellow flies dispey on 2 back 275-300 with mt dew spinny and yellow fly. downrigger parked at 100 with rays rasberry dolphin 300 went once with a freakn blue veggie (I think). That was about it. Nothing up high worked. We ended up with 11 for a few missed on rigger sets. It was an awesome shakedown trip. I think this boat will fish just fine and it was a much nicer ride on the rough water.
  13. Very very nice job.
  14. Not sure what we did before those rods came out. They are the only way to run copper in my opinion. The metal guides make them very durable.
  15. Very nice. Whether it was the 19th or 20th.
  16. Nice job Bud. Way to go man.
  17. Great job. You are going to want to fish bankers hours all the time.
  18. Joel, I think we are going for some yellow bellies in Mac on Friday. Rain won't bother us, just wind. Hoping for some decent weather, but may not get it.
  19. Aw man, I am sooooo jealous. Thanks for sharing Jim.
  20. Caught fish, didn't get towed home, made it home safe. Great shakedown trip.
  21. Nick, I'm in the same pickle of a situation. We added a few this year as we are going to try to run one side copper (100, 200, and 300) and one side lead 3, 5, full. However, I am wondering what I wiill do if all the copper is firing and the lead is dead. HMMMMM. More rods and reels I guess. We did not break down the 2-300 coppers we have. I just added the short ones. So, we can always still run how we did last year 2 -300, 2-fulls, and 2-5colors. I'll let you know how the 1/2 copper side works if we ever get on the water.
  22. Nice job Matt. love the name of the boat/avatar - here fishy fishy. Classic.
  23. Nice work Dave. How does that Big Al's flasher pull on copper? Lots of drag or pretty much like a 8" paddle?
  24. Way to get it done Steve. Nice trip.
