  1. It was a like a GLF reunion at the cleaning station. Nice to see you all again. Great work out there.
  2. Hmmmmmm smoker. Nice work out there Scottie.
  3. Thanks for the ride JON. It was awesome fishing with you guys yesterday.
  4. I work in the foundry industry. The problem with fracking is that they are taking up all the sand that the foundries want. They are paying HUGE prices for the sand and seriously buying up all there is, leaving none for foundry. If you guys want your car parts, tool and die, etc to go up in price HUGE they say nothing. If you want them to continue to be available at current market, say something to your congressman/senator about fracking and the strain they put on other industries.
  5. Nice job Kevin. Holy crap, another trip in the 20s.
  6. Very nice work Ben and crew.
  7. Thanks guys. Jeff, the new boat is awesome. MAN, I love going from side to side on the boat and having it still be stable.
  8. We had small shakers on yesterday too. We were just checking lines for tangles and had like 7 on (not all at the same time though). With the waves we had the drags set as loose as could, but the fish were not dragging them back.
  9. Got out of Holland Friday - left dock at about 1 and got back at about 6:30pm. It got BUMPY on the way home. We couldn't get a troll going any other way that South, just couldn't keep the boat straight goign north. Ended up with 7 keepers and probably threw that many shakers back. Rays raspberry worked again on the rigger and on 300 copper. 200 copper was also working with coyote I think. Flashers and flies did nothing for us, but who knows why. Tried a plug here and there with no takers. All spoon bite. Floated between 100 and 170, best was in closer. Riggers at 80, 300 copper and 200 copper worked the best. Almost forgot to mention. Keith, a good friend and rookie to the big water was with us and did an awesome job. That's him with the smile on his face in the middle. Think he is still smiling today.
  10. I thought that was you on Young Guns. We are right across from you on B dock. NICE work this week guys.
  11. Nice batch of feeshes. Great work.
  12. HOLY SMOKES. That trophy is bigger than he is. Nice work.
  13. Nice work. WOW, the 7 color was working. Good to know. We couldn't get a high line to fire last weekend.
  14. Nice job Todd. Sounds like you covered a lot of water.
  15. NICE job Donnie and crew. Can't complain about a limit in 2 hours. On the shakedown no less.
  16. go WIRE. You'll never regret it. You can feel the fish blink. It's amazing. Just back off on the drag and you'll be fine.
  17. Thinking about, but out of Holland. Looks (you know how wrong they are lately) like the only good day for a while.
  18. Mike, four words: US BOAT tow insurance. Best money/insurance I ever spent. Had to use it once last year. Would have cost me $800 to get home, instead - free. Of course I did tip the guys for a great job, but it sure wasn't $800. I'm debating taking off Friday as that looks like the nicest day this week, so if you can wait until then we can help if you need it.
  19. Go with a fiberglass handle if you can. You won't regret it. As far as loop and such, I am not sure. I just got a really big darn net.
  20. Tony, PM me or call me. I had 2 50' cords for the bayliner and we got some with the new boat. We certainly won't need them all.
  21. Nice job Jeff. I hear ya on the waves. MAN we could use some flat water.
