  1. Good luck with the tournament. Let me know where I can drop off my donation.
  2. Gorgeous 20 lb King. I've got one similar (20 lbs 2oz) on my wall. It was a special fish, not the biggest, but pretty big for us. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Very nice work. perfect record.
  4. Awesome report and amazing dedication. 2 am - wow.
  5. Nice job guys. I don't think the dipsey thing is unique to your boat. In the last few years we have done very well on our dipsey ratio. This month - crap. Like you said - hammering in the rod holder, pick it up and gone. I know it's not my hooks. I think they are just short striking or maybe grabbing the paddles.
  6. Nice job Phil and crew. You must have hauled butt our there Phil. We left at 5:15 and I swear I heard you say you had 5 when we were setting lines.
  7. Officer Perez was at the Holland fish cleaning station when we pulled up. We had 4 new guys on my boat that I didn't know and MAN was I a little nervous. They had everything in order so it was cool, but I've always found Perez to be a very fair guy. Just follow the rules and your are all set.
  8. Way to create another addict. Great job.
  9. Congrats on the 6 fish, sorry to hear about the lost gear. At least you were not bored with all the action going on.
  10. Nice job Rog. Heard you on the radio out there, but didn't get a chance to say much. Lots of boats to try to steer around.
  11. Had some fun in Holland this morning. Key (as it has been) was getting out early. Left the dock at about 5:10. Set lines in 60fow but didn't get a bump until 85fow going south. Went down to the last slider, turned north, tried to turn back around north of spyglass but by then (10ish) south troll was garbage. Stayed between 85 and 120 fow. 100 with lemon berry. Rigger down 65 with UV blue mango. 200 with Blue huckleberry. 5 color with pink panties. full core with metalic green frog dipsey with mixed veggie spinny. Chute rigger with green ladder back J plug 11" yellow and green paddle on dipsey out 165 on 1.5 300 with psycho
  12. Last 5 trips - 15, 14, 10, 13, 14. We try to leave the Holland launch area at 5. Quite honestly if I thought my crew would do it, I'd leave at 4.
  13. Way to go Jimmy. Congrats - wow man 19 years. that's cool.
  14. That's a really good idea actually. The LEDs do a great job of lighting up the back of the boat and behind it for a short distance. They are not blinding like the Halogens were, but you could see your boards out 300 feet with the halogens. hmmmmm, more lights?????
  15. I have to say that we spent the extra money this year rigging the new boat and went to the 35 bulb LEDs to replace our halogens that we had on the other boat. We were worried about draw on the batteries and such. I prefer the old lights. The halogens were awesome when spotting boards fishing before sun up. I don't think I can see 50 feet behind the boat with the LEDs. Just my opinion.
  16. Nice work on the fishes. Good thing you guys got in before the storms hit.
  17. Nice job Aaron. I thought that looking through the gallery you and Jon had posted the same fish. All makes sense now.
  18. Congrats. Great to have you.
  19. Thanks for the kind words everyone. Sure has been fun out there lately
  20. DUDE, that is awesome. Thanks for sharing the video. Did you do that with a GamePro?
  21. To add to Ryans comments. 1st and 20th place were decided by like 30 points or something. There were a number of boats in the middle (9th-12th) that all had the same number, just the decimal place was different. I know I hate getting edged out by ounces in the tournaments I've fished, but to get edged out by 4 other boats would really piss me off. I DO like Aarons comments about the late sign up. For smaller boats that does make it much nicer not to charge them more to sign up when the weather is more predictable. Good point Aaron.
  22. Jon, welcome to the site man. Please update your profile so we can see what city you are from. Great job on the fish. Always busy when you get into double digits.
  23. Super neat. Not sure exactly how good I am at reading it yet. Might be nice to have some more cities on the map so you can figure out what the current is doing out in front of your port. But otherwise, very cool.
