  1. Glad you were able to get out in the new boat. You can probably fish in worse conditions than most of us on this site if you wanted to. Can't wait to see that huge beast out there fishing.
  2. Nice job Robert. Sunday sure looked beautiful out there. My wife and I walked from Yacht Basin out to the pier just in time to see Don (Tangled Mess) pulling back into the chanel. Figured it was good fishing as that was 10am.
  3. Very nice Jon. Great to get the wife out and interested in fishing.
  4. NICE looking board there Don. Great job.
  5. Very nice work for the DW tourney. Great cause.
  6. Can't beat a good fire drill on the boat early. Nice work out there.
  7. Close to home - within 30 miles or so, format (catch numbers), chance to compete with other good fisherman in the area I know.
  8. Very nice work in some not so favorable conditions.
  9. Nice work out there Mike. I'm betting the DB coach is not going to hear the end of it this season.
  10. Nice looking pile of fish. Great job.
  11. Riggers 10' off the bottom - was that on the top of the waves or the bottom???? Good job out there - Stay safe.
  12. We are NOT fishing BRC. We moved down to Holland a few years back with our Bayliner because now that I have a kid it's much nicer at a marina with a shower, pool, etc. Then we did get a big fancy boat. MAN, I am loving it. Not too bad on the fuel - $80 a trip with twin V6s. So, you have not seen me much in PS because we go south a lot out of Holland down toward the sliders.
  13. I used to get sick all the time as a kid. no fun. I can still smell the floor in my dads old grady white and the fumes from the engine when I laid down on the carpet. Chumming every time when that happened. Great job on the fish. Good decision to bring the kid back to land.
  14. You guys beat me to it. Thats a brown trout, and a NICE one. Still got you a grand slam - AWESOME. Very nice work out there and thanks for the report.
  15. Yes, I verified with Scottie Mac. You can just fish the 333. You would have to ask him about the cost, but I think it is $150 if you are not paying for the tournament itself. The extra 50 goes to the tournament for hosting. Something like that.
  16. I used to do it differently, but have figured out the most efficient and effective was is as follows: 1. Dipseys - start with the dipseys because you just let them creep out with the drags loose anyway. Many times they will take a fish just going back. 2. Downriggers - shoot first, which keeps it away from the dipseys, outdowns second because the dipseys are typically out of the way by then. 3. boards - obviously high lines first followed by mids and insides ( we commonly run 3 a side) I've not run multiple dipseys per side, but I think if I did I would run the high ones out first and then the deep ones inside of that, then downs, etc. Best advice I can give you is get on a few other boats to see how they do things and just figure out what works for you based on that learning experience. I've been setting downrigger the same way for years and years. Just last month went on another boat and have adopted their methodology.
  17. Awesome video and even more awesome wall of fish. Nice work Jon. Did you get a Go Pro?
  18. Thanks for the information Tim, not only on your trip but the radio chatter. Great job limiting solo in waves. NICE.
  19. Awesome. How many cameras to you have on that rig? I counted 4, but I'm betting there is more.
  20. Those are HOGS. Nice work and thanks for continuing to post great reports and great pictures.
  21. Awesome man, and thanks for the quick report.
  22. Tried the text thing last night. amazing. in like 30 seconds I got a text back giving me the particulars. What a nice resource. I'd bet you could get support here financially to keep this going. I'd be willing to throw some into the hat.
  23. HAAAAAAAAAA, believe it or not I had it out there. Tried it on downrigger and a 300 at one time I think.
  24. Sweeeeeeet. Saw the buoy this weekend. AWESOME.
