Sorry guys. Wife had contractions going every minutes Friday night and we actually went in to the hospital, only to be sent home. Needless to say, I didn't make it out to the lake this weekend. But, I did get a lot of yard work done. yaaaaaa. slow clap.

Keeping my fingers crossed that the boat runs as well on the water as it does on the dock...we have it tuned pretty well now, but need to give it a test run - maybe today. See you guys in the morning.

Darn main gear on the distributor on the right engine...left engine works fine - just hard to get 10,000lbs of boat going with one engine. We fished Saturday on one engine (after the right one broke), but we had to come in early at 7mph, so it sucked. We basically trolled in to 75 fow and then decided to call it at about 11:30 last weekend. BUT, we have the problem figured and the part came in yesterday so now we just need to put it back together. I HOPE it's that easy.

Thinking about joining the fun Dave, just have to fix the engine first. :-).... will call you Friday night if that is OK.

I absolutely love my Okuma Blue diamond roller rods. I have 8'6" and 10' models. I like the 10' models because they get good bend in the tip to mid rod range. The 8'6" models seem like they bend (curve) from tip to grip when going the right speed. Just looks like they are going to break in half.

I have sooooo much stuff on the boat that the only new rigs we are buying are UV this year. So far, it's working pretty good, but it's hard to say whether we are scaring fish or not. I kind of figured - why buy a color spoon similar to what we already have on board unless there is something special (UV) about it?
