  1. Did you say 33 for 40 something? WOWZA. Nice work Jay. Way to slam em.
  2. Thanks for the repot Jim. At least someone is out there continuing to try. Any other boats doing anything? Other than just floating around.
  3. Nice work. It sure is easier finding 300fow in muskegon vs Port Sheldon. Worth the drive.
  4. That looks like a ton of fun. Way to go.
  5. SWEEEET. Way to make us all jealous Phil. MAN, I wish I had the time to get up north.
  6. I sure hope so. If you are going out Mike I think you will pass me on the fish totals. We are headed up north for Dad's day.
  7. went out tonight even though the weather predictions said 1-3ft waves building 3-5, thunderstorms likely. Hmmmmm. FLAT FLAT FLAT with not a cloud in the sky all night (6-10). Well I wish I had better news. We ended up barely getting the skunk out. 1 for 1 with a 7 lb king on a downrigger in 140ish fow 45 down on a coyote stinger spoon. Marked a few in 125-155 but no takers. Water is HOT on top - 64 degrees. Down 40ft it is 44, down 60 plus it was 42. we tired echip, we tried moonshines, we tried color, we tired slow, we tried fast. NOTHING happening out there. I hate June.
  8. I would not be depressed with those numbers. They are better than anyone else I am speaking with on the water right now. If you can 1. not get skunked you are better than 90% of the boats out and 2. get more than 2 fish you are amazing. Nice work.
  9. Ok, I was going to make a comment, but SteelieFreak's avatar / picture threw me off. I can't remember what I was going to say, or where I am for that matter.
  10. OK, I am in for the PS tourney. Rather than get skinned from my wife and try to fish two days during a "vacation" I am going to sneek out Sat morning and be back before she realized I am gone. Good weather is back on. I will take the curse off. HERE FISHY FISHY.
  11. Just had a thought. I'm praying for bad weather on Saturdat so I can fish in the big boat (Mike's) on Sat and come down and fish Sunday (blow date) in PS. Common weather.
  12. Darn it Nick. Tourneys are starting to stack up. This is the same day as a big event in Muskegon, not to mention a family camping weekend. Still deciding what I want to do, but I have commited to Mike (GLF) to fish in Muskegon. I wonder if my wife will notice I am gone from the campgrounds for a while????? No one's fault. Just too few weekends in the summer.
  13. Great work jerking and slamin. Not too deep either. That is nice.
  14. HOLY COW. 550 ft. I didn't think the lower bowl got that deep. You sure you were not in Ludington, or maybe TC? Probrably drove far enough to get there.
  15. Some great sun tanning weather out there. And not much else going on.
  16. Great job. 5 for 8 this weekend is about as good as it got. That is unless you went north like some lucky people.
  17. Nice work. I think I heard someone from Whitehall on the radio in PS Saturday night. I was shocked. Man was it flat. And that is about all that was good about it. You were not alone with the S L O W fishes.
  18. It is FLAT FLAT FLAT after about 230. If you want to get to 300 out of PS, you had better start dropping lines at about, oh, 295. Thanks for the trip Mike. It was a beautiful day on the lake, and it is always a pleasure to crew with you.
  19. I think you get the league trophy to best attempt to find the fish. There has got to be some award for that. If not, GLF should make one up.
  20. I was really worried when we were out deep about the skunk. 2 new guys on board and I didn't want them to experience the skunk early on my boat. That was a close one.
  21. You are probably right. No one on the radio was doing anything Sat night. At least they would not admit to it.
  22. Very nice job Jay. I would Love to limit out lust one time this year. Maybe I should start taking less people out. hehe.
  23. Went allllll the way out to 250 befor we dropped lines, thinking we'd troll for a while to 300. WRONG. Trolled for 2 hours still only in 270fow and getting nowhere. Marked nothing, caught nothing, decided to pull lines and get shallow. Ran in to 160 and setup moving east. First fish in 145fow, second in 125. Marked a lot of fish at 25-35 in the 130-125 area. Even marked a few down 70 and 120ish. Nothing taking it deep. Ended up 2 for about 4. 5 color with nitro nbk. 3 color with nitro napalm. Missed on on double orange crush on 3 color. Missed another on dipsey 150back with nbkflahser and green fly. Just bumped it, may have never really hooked up. Didn't pop dipsey. MAN, was it pretty out there.
