Umpqua

We are fishing out of Hessel. We ended up with 16 this morning with our two boats. We had 11 kings, 2 steelies, 1 coho, 1 laker and 1 12.5 lb brown. We fished from 6-830.

Well we are about half way through our annual vacation to northern lake huron and we've caught 29 kings, 27 lakers, 1 walleye, and 1 steelhead in 25 fishing hours. So it has not been too bad so far. We only fish 2.5 hours in the morning and evening so its tough to figure out much of a program or do a whole lot of searching. And everything we have caught is extremely healthy with bulging bellys.

Just remember you dont have to be in the mud when the water turns to slam fish. I am never within 200 yards of another boat when the water turns and am almost always limited by 8:00 am.
