  1. We got a few smaller ones but pretty close to this.
  2. Multiple bombs on each side equals a HUGE mess for me at least:mad:
  3. Jeff, How big are the sidekicks?
  4. Nice job. Fish in the boat in March, AWESOME.
  5. Like Mike said, any small size orange or red flasher. Luhr Jensen, Spin Doctor, or I wanna say a Z flasher. Those on a 1 or 2 color have been good for me in the past.
  6. Couldnt find a 3rd for MI City so Fishwisperer and I went to SH after some browns. Didnt make it out of the mud and whattaya know. Ahhhh.... Coho????? Turned south and ended up 11 for 12 in an hour and a half. First sandbar. Anything firetiger. Wasnt what we expected but we were happy campers. Never made it to Palisades even. Flatlines and 1 color. Great way for my first trip of year in new boat!!!! Good luck boys, go get em!!
  7. Last year was all about the copper for me. But everything was deep! Wish i was fishing 30 fow:p I added a 100' for the year and have a 50 and 30' to try in spring. These would be outside boards. Figured i would give it a try.
  8. I thought i read something about a harbor issue earlier this winter there. Anyone know if this handled or still an issue? Im getting ready to rock that way too.
  9. I trim rib bones after filleting then.... Fishwhisperer showed me how to cut the fillet into three boneless pieces. Once you have a skinned fillet, run ur fingers down the fillet and u should be able to feel the pin bones going from front to back. When you feel them stop, make a vertical cut making a tail, boneless section. Now make a horizontal cut on each side of the pin bones of the remaining section cutting out the bones. This will leave a small thin section up top and the remaining larger lower section down below. You will lose a small section of meat around the bones but on a King it will make little difference. If you prefer to have a skinless fillet, skin BEFORE cutting the bones out. This works pretty well for me. Just my .02
  10. Pep boys had em for abotu $50 too. Maybe they could pattern them to say stop and turn in the light pattern;)
  11. Awesome video. Great first trip You have succeeded in making me VERY jealous as I sit on my couch:(
  12. Threw new ones on trailer last year. Awesome til someone hit my trailer the first time out in SH. Just put new ones on new trailer last week. Boat lights are so susceptible to burning out that i love how these only burn out one at a time.

  15. U guys are killing me, we will be fishing the South Haven Steelheaders Classic. Guess this is gonna really make me pony up to win the WMFL this year. Should be prefishing that friday out of SH, so maybe we can share some tactics. Good luck guys
  16. Hooked up the hose and got the motors running today. Any day now, any day now!!!
  17. Thats pretty sweet. Nice to be able to change it up.
  18. Welcome to GLF:)
  19. I would take into account how many rods or number of people u would normally fish with. I have 2 riggers and usually use one. I fish with 2 people usual though so only 6 rods. Its nice to have the riggers on a hot rigger bite or lots on board but weigh this vs the cost. To be honest if the holes are there i would prob want them with the boat. Sucks having holes that dont match anything. Just my 2 cents:)
  20. I won a gift card to go towards one last summer and got a 13# over the winter. Im saving it for deep days and when im not cranking my manuals:eek: Have not really heard much about em either.
  21. Congrats he looks cute. Nothing like having a good dog around.
  22. sure can:thumb:
  23. Very interesting to see such a split. I use Walleye boards and are a big fan. Used offshores and hated them for reasons that other say they love em. Every board has its pros and cons and requires some tweaking. I couldnt get the Offshores to track with copper was my prob. Thats why i like the adjustment weight on Church boards. I set up my boards so they dont release for salmon but like a release for walleye so they go to the back. Salmon take it back. Make sure to put ur name and number on them. I have had three returned at least and have been able to return at least one to another.
  24. new boat(get pics soon), more tracks, 4 berts ratcheting, GLP triple rod trees, 1 wire dipsy, 250' Cu, 100' Cu, 2 new rods, new stereo and speakers, a bigger cooler with seat, LED trailer lights, added 2nd batt and switch, plenty of spoons and flashers (well i guess there is never enough:)) I wanna fish!!!!
