Will we made it 1,000 even quicker than I had hoped. Now someone gets to go fishing! We will give anyone who has not entered one last chance to get in by going back to our post on the 14th and liking it along with liking the page. At 5PM Tues we will take the list and add any new entries to the current list and draw a winner as long as I don't end up booking a charter tomorrow. As it stands expect a winner early tomorrow evening.

We are only 3 days away from the MCSFA Kid Fish event at Man Made Lake in Manistee. This is my first year running the event and will be getting lots of help from the veterans of the event. We usually get 150 or so kids and each will get a free shirt, ice cream certificate and bait plus we will be giving away over 50 rod and reel combos. It is an awesome event and if you have kids 12 or under around Manistee make sure you don't miss it. The festivities start at 9AM on Wed. Let me know if you need any info.

OK since we past 900 likes today lets give you another chance to enter for the free charter. If you have liked a post about the free charter before there is no need to like this one as you are already entered but please share it to get others to like the page. The charter will be given away when we hit 1,000 likes and if you haven't entered yet just like our page and this post and you will be entered. Lets get this done this year!

Lots of wind today and tomorrow but back on the water Wednesday. Fish were showing up in good numbers yesterday and this wind should make it even better. Looking forward to a great end of the week. Fish have been best in 50-150, 20-70 down with regular Stingers and Stingrays in UV Blue Veggies still our best bait. Flashers/Flies and Meat Rigs are all taking fish.

The word is that the Kings are getting closer and hopefully will be around for the weekend. We followed up our 5-7 morning with another short 5-7 morning the next day still fishing near the harbor. Heard some decent catches and some warm water on the shelf last night and better catches farther south. Should be a great week and we have several days open so give us a shout

No pics today but there are still a few fish around. The mother load has not yet arrived but should very soon. Today we managed 5 for 7 before three of our customers decided they didn't feel well enough to continue at 7:30. We will continue with a couple of the hearty ones in the morning for another try

Headed out tomorrow and Friday so hopefully more Kings are showing up every day. Don't forget one we hit 1,000 likes we will be giving away a charter and we are over half way there from where we started but keep sharing and like any of the posts including this one that mentions the free charter to be given away to be entered.

Well tomorrow will be spent helping to get ready for Tight Lines. We will spend the day at Sengs Marina and about 5 pm veterans will start to arrive for registration and dinner. It is going to be a great time again and if you are able stop down along the river on Sat about 12:30 and wave a flag. They are available from the many volunteers of Rolling Thunder stationed along the boardwalk.
