  1. Any time from the end of may till the beginning of June. It all depends on the temps. Last year was a little latter than normal.
  2. Having more rods than rod holders can be a problem, if you don't have a the extra storage space. I started just buying more reels. I can then change them out with other rod/reel combinations. Works out good in the spring, when I don't run all of longer/deeper set ups. As far as spoons go...I can hold 140 singles in the box. I then put multiples, of the same spoon, together. I have started a couple of rows on the back sides of the dividers. After getting up to the 200 range, I've had to remind my self that I have spoons that already catch fish. I have some that have never seen the water. I have some that I can't catch a fish with. Then I only buy one new one, instead of the 4-5 I use to buy.
  3. It might take a day or two to get a response from the RAP. Best to check things out before we get a light dusting of snow.
  4. I tried running a 5 color off the rigger last year. The problem I had was the amount of slack in the line when the rigger trips. You have to real like crazy to catch up with the fish. By the time I caught up with the lure, the fish was gone. I will be sticking with the traditional 2 color.
  5. I belive that tickets bought in advance are BOGOF.
  6. Guard deer? If you can't run with the big deer, stay on the porch. Cool pic.
  7. Welcome to the site Jonas. That is a great looking fishing machine you've got there. If you have any questions for us, feel free to ask.
  8. Stinger Stingray NITRO Area 51. Previous years had been the MS Flounder Pounder.
  9. Great looking ride Terry. Looks like I can leave my hard hat at home this year.
  10. Great job getting that Eye threw the ice. :cool:I have fished that lake allot and never knew it had Eye's in it. I will PM you w/ another lake, near by, that has been doing well with the Gills.
  11. I voted for the MS's w/ the DW's being a close second. Favorite spoon in MS is Flounder Pounder and Mixed Veg. in the DW's.
  12. Nice job Phil. I will be fishing out that way Sunday AM. That is one of the lakes we had planned on fishing. Do you know if it has any Pike in it? I have never fished it.
  13. Same here.
  14. I like Tim's idea. Perhaps it can even be held on the same day as the swap meet? The would certainly help increase the size of the audience.
  15. Sounds like a great idea Jim. Too bad it's too far of a drive for me.
  16. Sounds like a sweet set up you have there Adam. Can't wait to see some pics of it in action.
  17. Hats off to all of you that braved the cold. I chickened out, but still have all of my fingers.
  18. Well...we didn't get any snow yesterday. Woke up to sunshine and -9. Today is a different story. South Haven police estimate a foot from midnight through 1 PM. 8 inches fell from 7 am to 1 PM.
  19. We have another 5-10 predicted thru tomorrow evening. Next Sunday is the first day with no snow in the forecast.
  20. From noon yesterday till now, we have received 20 inches in South Haven.
  21. Anyone planning on fishing the Pike tourney there tomorrow?
  22. Looking forward to tuning in.
  23. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and safe new year in 2010. May your beer be cold, boat float and drags scream.
  24. Nice job Terry. I might have to get back out there again tomarrow, if I don't get a good draw at the farm.
  25. Great job on the pig. To bad you couldn't get one of the larger two. I here that they taste great.
