  1. Anns does that kind of work. I had my winter cover redone by them all the velcro replaced a few seams fixed and the corners where the windshield are reinforced as they were starting to go.
  2. Anns does great work i have used them also. They were 50 bucks chepaer than the amish and had my work done in two days where i was quoted a week week and a half by the amish canvas people.
  3. I had talked to the owner of morgans at the show a few year back it comes out of the same factory as opti copper does. Identical product different sticker. I personally like the opti/morgans. Is there a difference in memory i dont think so. I have been using it for about 8 years now. If i ever use up what i have in the basement i will probably buy the same stuff again.
  4. I have a lowrance hds and love it. About two and a half years ago lowrance was bought out by Navico. Once Navico took over they revamped a lot and got rid of the trouble makers in the cust service area. they are the same cust service reps that handle the simrad products now as navico owns them also.
  5. Fugly is all i can say. not to say how would you troll around those things.
  6. What kind of uw lights have you used i was looking as the small coastal night lights in either blue or green.
  7. I agree with what nailer posted. also mtn dew spinnies with pickled sunshine fly
  8. outdoors man had the small fish hawk clip on for 109 at their spring sale i believe. and you can get a subtroll or depth raider for around 400. Thats substantially less. granted you have the coated cable. I am going on my third season with my subtroll and no issue yet with my cable. I know people complain about the cable. AS far as what i spent on gear i agree with jim and am not getting to much stuff this season. Mostly some walleye stuff.
  9. i was the one that posted it it is the shakespeare one that works the best for copper.
  10. Yeah thats a lot more than what matthew was making it sound like it was going to cost. I'll stick with my subtroll and koch gmt fish finder
  11. Spreader lights on for setting lines then a couple small lights just enough to see a hit. Then on for netting. I want to get some underwater lights maybe next year from coastal night lights. We use lightsticks on our planer boards. That way we dont have to have the lights on all the times. I buy them in bulk 4 inch stcks 50 for 17 bucks.
  12. Forgot to say there is a dnr launch at ironton near the ferry.
  13. where you located? Outdoorsman in jesinson has them
  14. They are in benton harbor. Wolfs is a pretty cool place.
  15. Its so so. not like down here or ludington. The worst thing is the nets up there. they are everywhere and very poorly marked if marked at all. they dont have them listed like in ludington. when you do get on fish you can fill a cooler but there is times it is real slow. My dad used to always go up to petoskey and do a little better up there. Now if you put in and go into the south arm walleye fishing can be pretty decent around holy island it is a little ride. Also straight out of the launch if you angle towards the coast guard station there is a dive wreck the Kuka. It is marked by a whit jug. if there is a boat tied stay away but if knowone is on the wreck i saw some of the biggest wally on the back end of the wreck near the old forecastle when we used to dive it. Jig it with minnows to get those hogs out of there. The fore castle was collapsed when we dove it last year and easy to hang up on it but the eyes are still lurking that area. When you are heading towards holy islad there is a ferry in ironton you'll have to watch as it is a cable drive make sure the cable is down before you go behind it. they do a lot of trolling with husky jerks around the island. You can also hook some MONSTER pike while trolling the island for walleye.
  16. Ben i searched a few different ways for that and i found one post on iboats. Looks like boath answers say to just get a whole system. http://forums.iboats.com/boat-topics-questions-not-engine-topics/steering-cable-replacement-help-360276.html
  17. welcome aboard.
  18. adding a couple more rod holders. IF things go right an autopilot.
  19. I opened the boat up today to take a look at some stuff that was left in from last season. i am filling rods this week and next week hope to have the boat home to mount two more rod holders and a new transducer. the weekend after the fishing show i am loading spring stuff and hopefully a week or two after that it'll be in the water.
  20. I bring the boat over the first weekend in may and saty through the second weekend in july then back over here for kings. where did you go out of.
  21. No you didnt get skunked i guess. We just made the marina payment for our slip this season on erie. cant wait to get the boat out and down there for some eyes.
  22. I completely agree. When i started to drive one of the first things my dad did was hook up the boat and off to a parking lot. he set up cones for a launch area and it was practice practice practice. every weekend till i could do it in my sleep.
  23. Yeah i forgot to post it last night when i did finally get home. Jim you coming to the gr show if so look me up at the MUCC booth again.
  24. Just letting everyone know Outdoorsmans in Jenisons big spring sale is tonight and tomorrow.
