well since i had all the stuff John mentioned here at home i mixed up the dish soap and ammonia and water. I picked up whatis called an acid brish for washing driveways. It is a natural bristle brush stiffer than a deck brush butsofter than a broom. Scrubbed away from 1 to 6 today. Man what a difference. i used soft scrub on two rust stains and it looks like new again. It hasnt been that clean since i have owned it. I applied the woody wax and will now use regular deck soap while in the marina. Thanks everyone for all the great info.

just screw in a small screw eye and a snap swivel on an a split ring does the same thing and about 20 cents to fix it. Or use a screw eye #8 split ring and a OR-16 and the board doesnt slide down the line.

thanks for the replies i went to my local hardware and they had a brush that is firmer than the deck brushes i have now and the lady says her husband uses it on thier fishing boat. I may use the softsrcub this time as the previous owners never cleaned the boat and has some stains then after will use the woodys wax and deck soap to keep it up once it is done.

Did you use a brush with the purple power or just spray on and wipe off

Thats funny you say the gel was hard to find as i sent my wife to the store last summer to get me some soft srcub to remove the lense coating on my new scuba mask. for doing that the gel doesnt work as well and now i have a bottle of both now as i had to go back and get the other stuff. Would a softer push broom work as all i can seem to find for brushes are pretty soft. Do you wet down the deck first and then spray the soft scrub on or use the soft scrub on a dry deck?

What is the easiest way to wash the textured fiberglass floors in a boat. Should i use a deck brush, they seems a little soft, scrub brush terry towel? What do you use for a cleaner. I have washed it but never really got it totally clean before. I bought some of the woodys floor wax and need to get it clean to apply this stuff.

i have been buying them right along and never had that issue at all. i just bought a pair back in oct when i left my scrip glasses at home and no issues at all with the sports.

Tom for fit overs go to walmart they have polarized uv protected fit overs for 18 bucks a pair. Every where else there like 30 bucks or better. They are by solar shield and my eye doc who fly fishes pointed the out to me. http://solarshield.com/sunglass.html I used the sport as they wrap around better and dont let the sun in till i bought prescription sunglasses last year for the first time. I used them for the last ten years or so and still keep three or four pairs on the boat in case someone forgets sunglasses.

i have a pair of liberty biker sunglasses for on the boat. being that i need prescription lenses these were the only wrap type sunglasses i could find. they are polarized and uv protective lenses and allow me tosee in the water really wellfor netting they have them at walmart in the vision center with non script lenses for about 80 bucks with the polarized uv lenses. With scrip lenses they were 121.

one thing i love with my hds is the sirius real time weather. it uses the ethernet connection if you ever think of getting the weather. It overlays on your gps gives you warnings when lightening is 25 15 and 10 miles out. Shows the storms and direction they are moving wind speed and how hard it is raining. Right now they show wave height on the ocean. That is a feature that they are going to be adding to the great lakes when sirius puts up their new satellite. the current satellite cant read the wave height on the great lakes. It also shows surface temps and breaks. I see they came out with the elite in broadband now which is the way you would want to go if going with the elite. the rms on a standard unit is about 600w where with broadband it is 250w = 30000w standard.

The City Boat Launch is located on Anchor's Court, on Marina Island. The daily fee is $5.00 per car/trailer and a season pass is available for $35.00. Season passes are available from the City Clerk's Office at City Hall. go across the bridge from bh to st joe as soon as you go across the bridge it is the first road on the left. take that all the down to the marinas and you will see a sign for the city launch. you make a left to get to the launch just after the sign. Make sure you stay in the channel it gets shallow quick.

Has anyone heard when the drx-40 is supposed to come out from depth raider, and what the price point will be. It looks almost exactly like my gmt 40 from the pics. hope they come in under the fish hawk tds price.
