  1. I agree. They didn't do much in any way to assist with the flow of the high volume of boats. But it is what it is. But, at least they patched up 1st St. That thing was a mess, and the cosmetic changes are very nice. Chris
  2. Nice job. It was definately a bit rough out there yesterday. How'd you like the new roadway and traffic circle leading down to the ramp area? (I am assuming you launched out of 1st st.) Looks like they are just about done with the construction. Chris
  3. Congrats. I will see you up here in Manistee. Give me a shout sometime. Chris
  4. Don't do that. The most interesting things usually happen after someone has been drinking beer. Been on both sides of that coin. Chris
  5. Love the iron wood. She looks great. And I don't know if it makes you feel better, but she is only 25 years old. I graduated in 87', and I feel old enough. Please don't make it worse. Lol! Chris
  6. Yup, that's funny. Chris
  7. Looks real good. Chris
  8. I always like watching the big boats come in. Still amazes me as the slip past boats and objects within feet. Chris
  9. I'll see you in Manistee. Chris
  10. 3rd that. Chris
  11. It was a pretty big show here. Brought out a bigger crowd than a $3.99 Friday fish fry. Chris
  12. Good job, and thanks for the detailed report. Chris
  13. Yup, that's cool. Chris
  14. I think Mark summed it all up. All good advice. Chris
  15. The boat looks great. Now if you only knew someone who made custom rods so you could fill up all of those rod holders. Wait........never mind. Chris
  16. That's awesome. Way to be "old cool". Chris
  17. Nice catch, nice boat, and diggin' the Tesla at the end! Chris
  18. Very nice. Happy Easter. Chris
  19. Nice job on 2nd, and the fish. Chris
  20. No offense taken here. Made me laugh. Charters are great if you just want to sit back and relax. No messes to untangle, no fish or boat to clean etc., but in all seriousness, if you are looking to learn, get with someone who has an open seat posted on this site and jump in. Everything I have learned is from messing it up (at least twice) in the past. After you loose a couple $50 dollar rigs you figure out quick what you are doing wrong. Good luck, Chris
  21. Nice job! There are going to be some big fish this year. Chris
  22. Palomar. Gotta keep it lubed like everyone said to get a good seating. Chris
