did some fishing in antrim county last week.lake charlevoix produced 3 northerns 5 walleye and 7 smallmouth. intermediate lake produced 2 walleye 6 northerns and 2 smallmouth.we fished the south arm of charlevoix.walleye were caught with jigs and a piece of crawler and 3 of them were caught trolling cranks.all the pike were caught trolling cranks(x raps.) the smallmouth were caught on husky jerks.also found around 150 morel mushrooms.it was a good time.

Thanks for the report.I heard that they caught some out of holland right off the south pier,but can not confirm.have not heard anything on grand haven yet,but it should be soon.
we fished sat.and went 9 for 11 all cohos.went again sunday and were 5 for 6. fished about 4hrs. each day. orange and chartruse hot and tot. and green dolphin stinger(small) was our best baits.yummy.
fished south of holland again this morning.6to30fow never had a hit.conditions seemed perfect.water was still alittle muddy.first skunk of the year.oh well. any word on st.joe or s.h.?
Fished this morning(thurs.)south of holland. nothing right on the shorline. moved out to 30fow and picked up 1 coho 12ft down on green dolphin stinger,right in front of halfway creek.water was really muddy in close.water temp around 47deg.
fished out of holland Sun. am. went 2 for 3 south of the piers. gold and orange jointed rapala (flat line) caught 1 and green dolphin scorpion on shallow rigger took another.both cohos. 6 to 20 fow.
I fished out of holland on saturday 4-5 We were 2 for 5. 1brown and 1 coho. the brown was caught south of the piers in about 10fow the coho and the other hits came north of the piers same depth. orange and gold jointed rapala and orange thunderstick junior had all the action. unfortunatly the weather doesn`t look the best for this weekend.
