I was in Manistee this past weekend hoping to get out, but the lake said otherwise. Talking to a few captains, they had been getting good fish from 100-250 fow, in the top 40 fow. Good luck

Good morning guys, I have been searching all over the net and I'm unable to locate Ridgeback Rattlers. Are they not produced any longer? Thanks

Run the braid. Much easier to handle, trip the dipseys, and I feel that you get a better fight. Add wire when you can afford it. You won't regret it. The diawas will handle it. I run okuma convectors and they do just fine for me Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app

Foulpursuit, Braid and wire all the way. I dont even mess with mono dipseys any more. They both produce very well Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app

Nice job Capt Gene.. Can't wait to run my wire divers up here. These guys are stuck in the 80's and have never even heard of wire divers, lead core, copper.... Time to do some schooling. Only downfall is being limited to one rod per person. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app

Good evening all, Since the boat hasn't sold, it looks like we will be shipping the Knapptime to Alaska. I am looking for transport services from west michigan that will truck it to Washington, port yet to be determined. Any and all recommended transport companies and also any to stay away from would be greatly appreciated. 1986 34 ft sea ray express with a 12 ft beam. Dry weight 10,600 lbs.. Good morning. . Not quite lake michigan but here's another report for you. .. Fishing out of Homer, Alaska has been really good this season. Feeder kings (2 y/o) have been abundant in the 20-30 lb class range, with quite a few in the 50 ' s being taken. Haven't heard of very many of the spawners taken, other than a couple in the 70 lb class range. Silvers ( coho) are very abundant right now and it's hard to keep a line down. 2-15 lb fish are the norm. Second run of big kings should be showing up any time. On a side note, I do miss Manistee a little and wish all of you on the big pond a safe and successful rest of your season!! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app

Red, If you're up to a trip to the west side, Manistee has a lot to offer! Big and little Manistee rivers for trout and the salmon when they're running, and (I didn't tell you this) but really nice walleye can be had out of the river by the boat launch and pier at night... :-) If I wasn't 4000 miles away, I wouldn't be donating that information! Lmao Good luck! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
