we had riggers set at 15,20, & 23 then we also had 2 slide divers with plugs 20 behind the diver with another 25 ft out. I wondered if would have one the big king for yours mike. Im going to see if can figure out how to upload the picture of the three on here

Started out in 45fow at 6am I went south of the pier heads to avoid the pack that was in close and the one out deep. I was in two different tourneys at the same time by my mistake The one from here wich I forgot til this morning and one out of Harbor Towne, it was weigh your biggest 3 fish.We worked south til around the weather bouy and had no hits and then worked out too 150fow with still no hits Had to have lines pulled bye 11am so we headed back tothe pier heads to the combat zone. Seen one neted outside the pier heads. I went down the channell to just west on the silver sides and hooked up with our first fish at 10:30 a nice 16lb king, got to the end of the coast guard cutter and hooked the second fish on a chrome red head a 19.6 lb king it was now 10:45 iwent a little farther down the channel turned went back to where we caught the first and a slide diver set 50 back with a green ladderback #4 J plug went for our third fish a 17.4lb king wich we got in the boat at 10:55. weigh in was at noon so I could not make it to both weigh ins sorry. But we did win first place with our lucky last minute 3 three kings.

Started off in 85 fow. set lines about 6:30 and went too 125 fow went 5 for 6. I had 3 nice kings come on a silver horde plug that is white with pink dots its a glow but I dont know the name of it. Took another king on a silver horde plug that is like green splatter back but its white glow with green, 1 king on a silver horde double glow. One steel head on a moonshine mag that looks just like a NBK. All my fish came with in a hour and all were off riggers. Had a very green crew so I had a hard time driveing and setting lines by my self, I have single station with a fly bridge. all the riggers were 70 down and deeper water was about 55 to 50 degrees down there. I was haveing the same issues and started playing with the length of the fly, what I found was that when I changed the length of the fly to about 55 to 60 inches they started fireing off a lot more. Just to see if was the lengh i put one the same set up down same color flasher and same fly brands and all. the long length would go but I had no hits on the one that was 24 inches. that has been my experiance with them.

yes that does help. Another question do you use mono or flouro carbon for your flies is one better than the other?

when you are useing a 11" flasher how far behind the flasher do you run the fly. Ive heard of some people running it 50" or more behind the 11s.

How do you know what the wind is going to do to the current direction. For example if there has been a steady southwest wind and the current has been running south to north then the wind changes to a strong northwest wind what is the current going to do then? I know it will push colder water in from the deep but what about the currents ?

Im not sure what you are saying you are doing with tube and beads on this one ?

What is the best way to connect the wire to a swivel, a knot or use small crimp sleves ?

Do you use a snubber on a wire line ?

Do you notice any differance with the glow cannon ball ?

whats bad and good is Im going to give up smokeing now, not for the reseasons I should like my health but so I can put gas in my boat.... because Im not going to give up listening to them drags screaming......Nothing gets my adrenilne flowing like that sound does.

I have a couple of them, the cut plug and a green ladder back. I can say that I do not catch more fish on them than a regular plug of the colors.

What kind of ratio due you use to make your scent ?

how long do you run your leadcore line before changeing it. Also super braids, I use power pro and Im not sure how often to change it as well. Do they rot like mono or at a slower rate?

I have heaard of people fishing the nets, as in going right over and around them. If this is true how do you do it with out tangles? How do you know how deep they are or do you just stay away from them? John
