  1. if anyone does go to watch keep in mind them and mark romanack are the only ones in the place that charge..romanack 20 and best chance 25
  2. very nice joe...still waiting for my kids to show excitement for anything but spongebob,i-carly or bakugon:o
  3. patty made some last year for me..i put them on and put them up on the rod rack and when i got to where i was setting up i couldnt get them off...seems the wind slap tattered up the inside where there was extra fabric and tangled it up with the line...im thinking i just need a different fabric maybe
  4. wow frank..i would have thought fred trost would be going back a ways..but mort neff ..thats really going back:lol:
  5. nicely done terry
  6. we just might be related:lol:
  7. we did very well on a chrome frog spindoctor..i dont know if its the same or not..but it seems frog patterns do quite well
  8. from what ive seen the only diff. between magda and convector is the click pawl spring(as far as clickers go)...mag is plastic and convector is steel...tunas reel repair suggests switching to plastic in the convectors(apparantly it saves wear on other parts)
  9. i could be wrong but i believe they are made by okuma
  10. i hear what youre saying ken...i twisted a 300 and 450 together...you couldnt tell one from the other...my niece and my wife spent a full saturday unraveling it(must not have wanted to open her purse):)do you think it might..if you put it all in the water... it might make the copper rise and fall for more action?actually heres one ive wondered..we always are looking for thin leaders...do you think it may be more beneficial to have a little heavier to get more action...same reasoning for putting 40 or 50 lb on a fly for the whip effect?
  11. i put 30ft leader 450 copper 100ft 30#mono 150yds ppro on a 55 so you shouldnt have a problem...i would go with the power pro to answer youre question:)
  12. i got electric start on my honda..its almost ridiculous to just bump the button and it starts:lol:
  13. i lke to think outside the box and am willing to try new things...how are you gonna know if you dont try...we wouldnt be where we are as a sport if everyone poo-pooed every new idea...rayman96..i never thought about the way youre doing..makes good sense to a budget minded fisherman...i dont know if i like that many connections but i can see where it would be a huge benefit...yeah maybe there is another 75 ft to reel in...but if it catches more fish who cares
  14. i was just reading something a guy posted somewhere...he is running 30ft of flouro 100 ft copper,76ft braid 200 ft copper and then backer...i guess im wondering what you think about this..the only reason i could think to do this would be to increase action...instead of heavy copper maybe getting it to act more like core..something to think about anyway
  15. very nice buck scott
  16. very nice adam
  17. absolutely right...that has also been a concern of mine...barring running out of gas it is a nice "feel good" accessory:)
  18. you will save gas for sure ..but keep in mind(at least for me)most of my fuel is burned driving thru muskegon lake and a couple miles(at least)out on the big lake and back...i dont know if you will pay for the kicker with saved gas in the first year or so..but sooner or later you will...theres been lots of times...especially with larger waves im burning more fuel cus im running both motors...my main motor for steering and main power and my kicker for speed adjustments...my main motor is either trolling too fast or too slow..its touchy..but in my opinion a kicker motor is worth the investment
  19. dont you have enough stuff:eek:
  20. honda
  21. are you jigging for those or tip ups?
  22. for me it would be nice cus i generally buy a lot at once if the deal is right...it sucks to go buy a lure at 5.29 when you know youre paying at least a 1.50 mark up per spoon( i know cus someone was gracious enough to get them for me at cost once)in no way do i blame them for making a profit...i need them there if i need something last minute blah blah blah....but i generally order from the internet...the selection is better and if you order enough to cover s&h its by and large a lot cheaper...so to answer youre question im very interested in ordering bulk and saving on 50 spoons potentially 50 dollars.
  23. my kids do the same thing for a slice of pizza...my wife will tell you i do it fo a shiny new lure:)
  24. i beleive the shaft lengths are 15,20,25 25 being for sail boats i got the 25 cheap cus they couldnt sell it (everyone that showed up was looking for a regular boat motor)i seen one somewhere(mount) i will see if i can dig it up again.. http://www.shipstore.com/SS/HTML/GAR/GAR71078.html
