  8. i guess to elaborate on this...we are just asking that you be somewhat timely..we dont mind fishing all day we just dont want to wait at the weigh in all day..we are gonna be "somewhat" lenient with this..there are only so many docks and there are gonna be guys that are "late"becouse they are in line trying to get to the dock..as long as you are in line at the dock youre considered good..obviously you come raging to the dock at 1:45 youre not
  9. We will clarify that bill. We want to check in at the scales
  10. i bought a bulk spool of the pink ande 20lb last year..i was concerned about the pink rather than the clear but had a great deal and was reassured it would be good..after a full year on it i would buy it again..tested a piece that was on my rigger for a year and it broke at almost 23lbs..couldnt be happier..

  14. If you already have the cv55s you can get the 6.2:1 gears for it from tunas for $15 also the widemouth line guide for$5.
  15. I do the power pro then mono then copper deal. Mainly for the line capacity on the 32# copper. That way I can get a good amount of backer on a 45cv. I do run the 45# on 55cv with 450 and a 300ft lengths with the braid and mono also. I cross my fingers I don't get the dreaded power pro spool dig but have been fortunate so far. Either way the blood run copper is awesome and you'll be happy
  16. You put the copper thru abot an inch and a half and wrap it over itself about 5or6 times then a little shrink wrap if you want. (haywire twist)
  17. I poke the swivel or hook into the foam
  18. I use a swimming pool noodle
  19. this is also a good reason to put drift bags on the boat to help keep the boat straight(attached to the bow)
  20. ive used blacks for years and have had zero issues
  21. i always do the copper then the mono so no heat near the mono
  22. i have had nothing but good service from tuna..(does that sound bad?)
  23. I believe July 8-10
  24. Obviously you will want to taste and adjust that recipe batch after batch. Some like a little salty some a little sweet. But that recipe is a good base to start from.
  25. I don't let I get over 150degrees. I keep checking and rotating the racks up and down as needed. When it just starts gettin a light brown i take it out(salmon)keep in mind it will keep cooking for a bit after you take it out of the smoker. If it's a dark golden brown when you take it out it may end up dry by time it cools. Also I've never liked the taste right out of the smoker. So don't get discouraged if you taste it right away and aren't happy. Let it completely cool and sit. Also lately I've been smoking it with the skin off and the lateral lines and pin bones removed and it's made for a much better finished product
