  4. i fillet the green label herring..i get mine locally at fish on bait and tackle or shoreline mobile..you can get it online also
  5. i also prefer the wire for the dipseys..on the copper rods im on the side of power pro backer then a section of mono then the copper..mainly becouse you can get larger amounts of copper on smaller reals and becouse the mono degrades over time and whenn you have to replace the mono backing every couple of years it becomes a lot more expensive than the power pro..you just replace the section you put in between the copper and the power pro..i checked the breaking strength on some 30 pound backer i had on a reel i ran for 2 years and it broke at 19 pounds
  6. i will admit i havent given them much of a chance but i just dont care for them.. of the fish we caught some were hooked nicely but mostly we lost close to the boat while some spit the hook just as we netted it and i never tried again
  7. these tourneys are 30 to enter and are open communication..meaning we encourage sharing of information to help everyone catch some fish..if your looking to learn different tactics and such this is the place to go (besides websites such as this)weigh in usually results in an info overload..we are very proud of how freely guys share theyre knowledge at the events..you will enjoy it

  13. my lineup gets changed every 15 minutes if the fish arent biting..its one of those deals where you have to absorb everything you read and hear and just go out and try it..internet fishing will get you to a point but nothing beats going out there throwing something out in different conditions and seeing what happens..as you stated though its hard when you only make 1 trip a week..sometimes its not really as much the color you throw down but the speed and water column your running it in
  14. same here with the exception of the third rigger(only have 2)..also depending on dipsey bite i may add one
