  5. This sounds crazy but we've had 3 neighbors houses burn to the ground within a year. All within 4 houses of us and all electrical. We were smelling a weird smell for a while (not me for once)then a cord melted. Turned out the smell was an outlet box. The smell was the resin. Fire chief came with a thermal imager and you could follow the heat in the wall. Turned out to be a bad outlet arcing out and creating heat. We were close to being house 4 to burn down. Be sure to replace all you're loose outlets to avoid arcing
  6. You literally just wrap the copper over itself away from theswivel several times. I usually go about an inch and then put heat shrink tube over it.of course let it cool before putting the mono on

  10. Trying to get in on a kicker after the waves kick up isn't a challenge you want to risk. I would make sure all is good before you venture out.
  11. As car as I know the smallest spool is 1000 ft. But it sure is nice to have that extra there after a good tangle up or breakoff
  12. I would be interested in field testing some gasoline.
  13. I have always ran the blacks but after firhing coho on a boat with the chamberlains next year will switch. Dont like paying almost twice as much as the blacks but I've spent more on worse unfortunately
  14. Personally I would go with the bigger boat for the comfort and added security on the big lake. You're gonna burn a little extra gas but there are plenty of us who would absolutely love to only burn 4 gallons a trip
