  3. thanks for the report..was out last night also..started in 180 west to 320 and noticed a ton of fish in the bottom 40..tried dropping a rigger but could only get 180 dn before i seen the rigger spool
  4. i switched to blood run wire and couldnt be happier..my catch on the wire rods has gotten better over the braid but i guess i dont have any scientific answer as to why..there are other factors when fishing dipseys that can put more fish in the boat regardless of wire or braid..such as leader length
  5. talk to tony from eyefull custom rods (site sponsor)this guy will hook you up with everything you need to know."eyefull" on this site
  6. in my opinion the reason its "safer" than booze is becouse its not legal..therefore 75 percent of the people smoking it never leave theyre moms basement while theyre high therefore less accidents attributed to it..make it as accessible as alcohal and we will see what happens.
  7. i think sometimes people are posting on theyre phone and may not realise the cap is on
  8. i think theres too many factors involved in figuring where youre sliders at..theres arc in the line and its more towards the release than the center line ..also the arc size depends on everything from speed to how tight you load the rod..i always run a fixed slide about 6 ft above the main line
  9. same here but got it from menards..they have a spray can version and a brush on version..i used the spray and it works great
  10. I hope it holds up. I haven't been thrilled with all leylands decisions but the results are hard to argue
