thanks terry..you know its like the wmfl...its fun to try and beat the other guy..but when youre back at the campground guys get to gether and share info...this spreadsheet stuff to me is just like any other tool...its gonna help me and anyone who fishes with me or around me that wants to know what i did

a spread sheet would help in the fact that i can look back on it and see what i fished for certain conditions at different times of the year..that is gonna help me make better choices in my lures by seeing something i didnt remember that had success the last time i was out in those conditions..it also helps from year to year...to a point to get you back where you were on fish before....not to mention the fact i can give more detailed reports on this website that way so that im not the guy being accused of catching fish and not sharing where he got them or what he used...dont assume im like one of youre friends or the people youve seen...anyone who knows me knows i will give any info they want

there was a time i could post something and get helpful replies..i guess now i get berated for having a different idea of fun than another guy...i guess i live in communist china now..i suppose i will reconsider posting at all and save myself some trouble

it seems so many products are coming out with an echip..do you guys buy into this...the only ifo i hear is that theyre good..but i hear it from whoever is trying to sell it...have you guys had good luck that you feel you can say...that fish bit cuz of the e chip?

i promised my wife i would try to have more fun salmon fishing and not try to make it a competition with everyone on the lake or the dock.....but as i think about it...i like to compete with it..it drives me to try harder and do better...and im sure its that why with a lot of us...thats part of what makes fishing fun...that being said i would like to track my fishing better...maybe we could combine some spread sheets....you know something with lure and wind and weather an time of year and so on...:)cuz i know im not the only one who wants to or already does this

what size and brand hooks do you put on them?

i have a fairly basic knowledge of wind and its affect on current and water temp...does anyone know of some sites or information pertaining to this ...i would like to have a more in depth knowledge of this..

im thinking of going to a single hook on my spoons...what have youre experiences been with them?does anyone know the pros and cons of doing this?

i broke 2 of the blue diamond roller rods last year...i wonder if im not the only one that had this problem

ive been looking over some of the old threads..and there have been a lot of "beginner"questions asked by a lot of people who,at this point i would consider fairly seasoned fisherman...so you should never feel like a question isnt worth asking

this is just my opinon..but with the lakes getting clearer and clearer..lead core is becoming invaluable to me..add to it a dive bomb and it gets better..its cheap until you add in the planer boards..i catch a ton of fish on it..lots of steelhead on half core with double orange crush spoon.

i watched dirty jobs the other day and watched them literally count thousands of dead salmon after spawn...i dont see how a couple more fish would have a big impact on the fishery...and that was just in 1 river
