  3. Nice job Dan, I think of NOAA as if I asked my wife what the weather is going to be! Just better to peek my head past the pier heads and make a call! Just dont tell her I said that!

  10. With his passing Red Bull might go bankrupt! R.I.P Captain Phil!
  11. the only fish we picked up was 2 10 to 12 lb lakers, sure would like to have them in the 333 tourneys!
  12. once you get the wire setup, put a downrigger release on it you will be hooked! Nothing beats fighting a 20+lb king on a wire diver! I got lucky enough to do 6 in a row out of Muskegon with SeaBee last yr! I walked away from the 7th!
  13. Frank that is a good point, but how many times has that rigger rod, or the full core taken off, then when the fish sees the boat it charges the rigger cable? I can honestly say that i could sell my riggers and add 2 more wire divers and catch as many fish. We used to run our braids up high, and even deep. Yes they produce, but in my opinion i would take wire. Wire does win with anything it comes in contact with but they do put fish in the cooler!
  14. This is True, You can feel their eyes blink and if you pull to hard you will pull their heads off!
  15. Leavn in the morning, why dont you haul the boat over and lets bust some a$$ Jason!
  16. I got rid of my braid divers, and we run 2 wires per side. I can tell you that our wire divers high and low produce 90 percent of the time!
  17. We also threw alot of dinks back last year, this year should be good. Last year we sorted big and alot of 15s
  18. we are heading down friday mornng
  19. You should come fish the Brown Blast next weekend Katrina. You have St. Joe figured out now!
  20. There is a state launch in Benton Harbor, across the street from Tackle Haven. I would stay shallow, and work it to the south. If you cant get it going, dont be afraid to wonder out to 20 ft or so. To the south there are some sand bars that hold fish, watch your graph you cant miss them. We usually keep it around 2 - 2.5. but that depends on what they want. If its sunny, stretch em out. Good Luck!
  21. There is a ramp in Benton Harbor, dont leave anything in your truck you want to keep! Also there is a ramp on the island across the road from Pier 33.
  22. Im sure I can go to Muskegon and help the skipper! Just have to bring some hooch!
